New Review - Juan Villoro - Holding Pattern (WWB)

The latest addition to the website is my review of Mexican author Juan Villoro's short story, Holding Pattern.

Holding Pattern looks at the mounting soullessness of the perpetual traveller, and his gradual disconnection from everything other than the ephemeral aspects of travel.

You can read the review here.

Holding Pattern is a short story from the Words Without Borders January 2012 issue, Apocalypse.

Other titles from the January 2012 issue include:
---Xerxenesky, Antônio - Seizing Cervantes
---Adamek, André-Marcel - The Ark
---Paiva, Fernando - God's Obituary
---Elíasson, Gyrðir - House No. 451

Note: The (extremely) long absence from reviewing has been due to study commitments. In short, I went to Spain to study Spanish. Fun! But now I am back, and so are the reviews.
